City Health and its member practices have a proud record of supporting as well as delivering groundbreaking research in collaboration with organizations in Bradford.
We strongly feel that developing innovative approaches in exploring new models of care as well as cutting edge research will help to deliver improved health outcomes for our population.
City Health has practices that are RCGP ready as well as GCP accredited practitioners and administrators. City Health is uniquely placed as it has robust data intelligence and sharing agreements between its member practices representing a population of over 160 000 patients with a significant BAME (Black Asian & Minority Ethnic) population.
It has a dedicated research team and a data quality team offering great research opportunities to research networks, academic institutions, Pharma as well as other interested parties. Unfortunately, our population suffers significantly from long term conditions such as Diabetes, Heart Disease as well as Mental Health. It has also been adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are therefore proud to work as a collaborative partner on a number of trailblazing initiatives such as:
PRINCIPLE TRIAL
This trial is led by the research network and primary care team of the University of Oxford ably supported by Professor Mahendra G Patel.

BRADFORD COVID-19 VACCINATION TRIALS
Bradford is proud to partake in vaccination trials which could save countless lives as well as reduce morbidity associated with COVID-19.
City Health is working tirelessly with the Patient Recruitment Centre and clinical research networks locally led by Professor Saralaya.
